Over an 11-year span at East Jefferson General Hospital, our Volunteer of the Month for July with over 1,000 hours of dedicated service is Virginia Roch.

A staple of the surgery waiting area, Roch brings with her cheerfulness and kindness to spread throughout the waiting room for families and friends of patients. Her upbeat attitude makes those around her more comfortable as she directs surgeons, OR staff and loved ones waiting during high-stress times.

Always going the extra mile for those she serves, Roch is an important part of the surgical team, helping maintain a positive patient and family satisfaction.
