Each and every week, Dean Angerdina can be found helping direct patients at the second floor Domino Pavilion escort desk, where he has served every Thursday for the past eight years, earning him East Jefferson General Hospital Volunteer of the Month honors for September.

A member of the Volunteer Advisory Committee, Angerdina has helped train countless other volunteers and is always a patient and kind teacher. Along with his duties at the escort desk, he often times fills in in the Cardiac Rehab Department when needed.

Angerdina is truly an asset to both the hospital and the community, thank you to our Volunteer of the Month and all of our volunteers for continuing to better East Jefferson General Hospital.
