Lauren Fremin received her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Clinical Exercise Physiology. During that time, her interest and passion for health, fitness, and wellness grew tremendously, leading her to pursue a Master’s degree in Health Promotion. As a Health Promotion graduate student, she worked for Mississippi State University’s Health Education and Wellness Department designing, implementing, and evaluating wellness initiatives on and off campus. Lauren’s experience with geriatrics and corporate wellness cultivated when she began working for Forrest General Hospital’s Wellness Center as an Exercise Physiologist and Health Coach.
Prior to her career with EJGH, Lauren worked as the Senior Administrative Assistant for an innovative practice focused on the utilization of cognitive behavioral therapy and coordination of care to improve the quality of life for patients with chronic pain. Lauren’s ultimate goal is to create positive, healthy change for individuals, families, and communities. She believes in the power of holistic and comprehensive care and feels EJGH’s Wellness Center exemplifies this practice flawlessly. Lauren is proud to be a Team Member of EJGH, and looks forward to providing the highest quality, compassionate healthcare to the people she serves.
