Family Medicine Resident, Third YearJennifer L. Driver M.D.
Jennifer was born and raised in New Orleans. She is very happy that she can continue to call this wonderful city her home. For undergrad she attended UNO where she majored in biology. After college, she spent a couple years dabbling in research and received both a Master of Science in Pharmacology and her MD from Tulane. She loves Family Medicine for its breadth of scope of practice, emphasis on prevention, and continuity of care. She chose EJGH to continue her training mainly because of the people. The residents and faculty are all happy, hardworking, intelligent and supportive. There is also a diverse patient population, elective opportunities, an excellent reputation, and of course, you can’t beat the city of New Orleans. Some of her medical interests include global health, promoting healthy lifestyles, and integrative medicine. Things she enjoys outside of work are dancing, photography, exploring cultures through travel and food, snorkeling, listening to country music, drinking red wine, and of course, The Saints. Jennifer is quick to say with a smile, “I’m like the popular New Orleans T-shirt that reads: NOLA-Fed, NOLA-Bred.”
