Recently, The American Heart Association/American Stroke Association has designated EJGH with the “Get With The Guidelines® – Stroke Gold Plus Performance Achievement Award and the Target: Stroke Honor Roll.” The award recognizes East Jefferson’s commitment and success in implementing a higher standard of stroke care by ensuring that stroke patients receive treatment according to nationally accepted standards and recommendations. Also, East Jefferson General Hospital has been recognized as an Advanced Primary Stroke Care Center by the Joint Commission and was awarded their Gold Seal for quality of care.
