East Jefferson General Hospital’s Girls’ Night Out series returns on August 10 with “Stroke of Genius,” featuring guest speakers and discussions on how to avoid, identify and survive a stroke.

Neurosurgeon Dr. Peter Amenta and Neurologist Dr. Frank Williams will be on-hand to present the latest topics in stroke recognition and care along with wine tastings, hand massages, door prizes and screenings for bone density, body mass index, blood pressure and sleep apnea.
