Tonight, the EJGH Board of Directors unanimously voted to approve EJGH moving forward in their efforts to join the LCMC Health family of hospitals. With tonight’s approval, the issue now goes before the Jefferson Parish Council. If they approve of this motion, the next step would be a public vote by the voters of the East Bank of Jefferson Parish. There will be Town Halls and other communications coming in the next several days as we bring everyone up to speed on this initiative as it moves forward.  Tonight’s vote by the Board of Directors was the next step in providing a brighter future for healthcare and EJGH in Jefferson Parish.
