Congratulations to East Jefferson General Hospital President and CEO Dr. Mark Peters who has been named the chairman of the American Heart Association’s 2016 New Orleans Heart Walk.

The annual walk is free to participants, but donations are encouraged to help benefit the American Heart Association. This year’s fundraising goal is set at $830,000.
