    Outpatient Surgical Procedures Same-Day Services gets you on the road to recovery faster.

    Same-Day Services at East Jefferson General Hospital provides the highest quality of care for those patients whose surgical needs do not require an overnight hospital stay. Patients at EJGH’s Same-Day Services often have non-invasive or minimally invasive procedures performed and are able to enjoy a quick recovery from the comfort of their own homes.

    During their stay with us, each patient receives unmatched nursing care that includes high quality care and a reputation for compassion and skill. Patients also enjoy recovering in their own, private room where loved ones are allowed to visit during the recovery period.

    If a patient’s surgery or hospital recovery period extends longer than expected, the patient will be transferred to a nursing unit for continued care overnight.

CNOR credentialing represents a level of professional achievement and a demonstrated knowledge of clinical competence and practice standards. Just as important, achieving a CNOR credential demonstrates proficiency in support of quality patient care and sets a standard of commitment to the profession of operating room nursing.
